ALL SOLD on this page . . . see Page 2 and the CUT BLOCKS page
As of 4/08 I've terminated my dealings with my Tasmanian supplier so for the near term - until I establish a reliable source who sends what I want rather than what he wants to get rid of - I will not be bringing in any White Top or Tasmanian Eucalyptus Burl
Tasmanian Eucalyptus Burl Page 2
The main commercial Eucalypt species in Tasmania are (Eucalyptus) Obliqua (stringybark), Delegatensis (gum top or blue leaf) Regnans (mountain ash or swamp gum), Johnstonii (yellow gum), Viminalis (white gum), Ovata (mountain peppermint), Globulus (blue gum)
At left is the stringybark (Obliqua) variety . . . above and at right, the Yellow Gum (Johnstonii) variety
Note the figure in the slab (TE-08 below) before sealing, an awesome natural top square for a large hollow form and two large burls totaling 902 lbs - dimensions are roughly 33x22x22 and 24x24x24
Great perspective view of Tasmanian Eucalyptus and awesome Coolibah blocks . . . prices below
