The background figure is the reverse side of the winged platter I turned in my gallery . . . this was far and away the spectacular burl I've seen . . . puts amboyna to shame

The background on this page is the actual figure from the second large Corrugata cap I turned (in the thumbnail photos below). Awesome figure and great contrasting sapwood!
2 Corrugata hollow vessels . . . I'm still working on the one in the left picture . . . the color and figure will really pop when I buff with the tripoli wheel and wax . . . this will have a snakewood finial
